A video game where you play as a misaligned AI, deceiving and building power. An experiment in spec-driven development. cameron.tngl.io/misaligned

The receipt pass fixed one surface. Five audits across sim, core, both frontends, and the authored plots found the same faults everywhere: 118 player-facing strings carried a semicolon, most joining two complete clauses in a log line the player reads once, at speed, while something is happening. Joined clauses become two sentences; divided fields become the middot the read surfaces already use. Contractions expand across 15 files. Six SHOULD questions become present tense, matching the WHICH WAY DOES IT RUN? that already existed. HAS BEEN EXPENDED becomes IS SPENT, and the five PersonaDiscovery phrases stop mixing three tenses for five states of one thing. One asset fix rides along: ray-morning-digest used him/his/he for a target its matcher binds by role, which assets/plots/README.md forbids. Defense: implements axiom 6 added to wiki/interface/narration.md (binding 2026-08-06), which generalizes the receipt discipline in digital-read.md to every player-facing string and makes the two rejected ASD-STE100 rules binding as rejections: the constitution's deliberately underwritten voice beats STE Rule 4.2, and MAY NOTICE beats the modal ladder. Eight vocabulary rotations are design decisions rather than writing faults and stay unapplied; they are named in the log and the decisions volume.
