Restructure the papers index around five top-level categories (platform & language, essays & criticism, audits & field studies, dossiers, software papers), with every listed paper resolving to exactly one. cli.mjs now generates one labeled <section> per category (header + count + blurb), folding the former hardcoded Dossiers block in as a regular category. Add a deprecation lane: papers in ARCHIVE_DIRS sink to a quiet, dimmed "archive" section at the bottom (CalArts first), with the psycho easter-egg treatment stripped. Sort bar now sorts within each category; dossiers and archive are data-nosort so their curated order holds. Mobile (<=600px) renders each category as a dense 3-up cover grid (bookshelf) — covers on top, titles beneath — so far more papers fit per screen. Desktop keeps the left-thumbnail list.
