skills #
nate's personal skills, versioned here and exposed through symlinks in
~/.agents/skills. Both paths edit the same files. Claude Code also reads
this checkout through ~/.claude/skills; remote agents clone the repository
and select the skills they need.
layout #
- Personal, publishable skills live here. Keep their entries in
~/.agents/skillslinked to these directories; import a new personal skill here before replacing its local directory with a symlink. - Third-party skills remain installer-managed in
~/.agents/skillsand its adjacent.skill-lock.json. They are separate from this personal mirror. - Project skills live with their owning repos. Protopack owns reusable AT
Protocol service guidance;
atproto-servicesroutes there. The Jetstream client skill lives inzat.dev/jetstream/.agents/skills/. - Private local material (
secrets) and the externally managedplaywright-clilink remain ignored. Preserve those local entries when reconciling the published set. - Remote consumers load only suitable skills: my-prefect-server's autofix
selects
pr-bodythroughSKILL_SOURCES.discussandpitchwait for a human and belong in interactive sessions.
Edit through either canonical path, review the diff, and commit. Publishing requires authorization for the destination repository.
skillz.supply #
Tangled CI publishes tracked top-level SKILL.md files to
skillz.supply as
zzstoatzz.io when they change on main. Ignored files and symlinks are
excluded. Existing listings retain their URLs and creation dates; unchanged
content is skipped, and removing a source does not delete its public listing.
Skillz distributes only SKILL.md. Companion scripts (including librarian's
checkout.sh and tmux's helpers) must be installed from this repository.
Personal environment requirements described in each skill still apply.
uv run scripts/publish_skillz.py --dry-run
uv run --no-project --with PyYAML==6.0.2 --with atproto==0.0.72 python -m unittest discover -s tests
The repository's SKILLZ_APP_PASSWORD secret on spindle.zzstoatzz.io is
derived from the SOPS store. Publishing updates only this repository's
skills.* records; the earlier protopack.* listings are left untouched.
