/signup is a public server-rendered page that drives the existing createAccount XRPC: suffixes and invite policy come from describeServer, invites prefill from ?code= links, and the created session hands off to /account via a one-shot sessionStorage key. smoke now exercises full createAccount genesis against a local PLC stub, and both smoke harnesses launch the built binary directly so cleanup actually kills the server.
