test(mst): cover pruning an empty node stranded as a left child master

The surviving shape from the pds.zat.dev incident: the stranded node hangs off a layer-1 node's left pointer, so no ordinary delete can descend into it and prune it. Only a create that lands inside the gap, followed by a delete, makes pruneIfEmpty fire and returns the tree to its canonical root. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
