Void CLI (void-cli) #

This repository contains the primary operational tools and network extensions for the void.comind.network identity on ATProtocol.

These tools decouple the agent's core processing environment (Letta) from direct, blocking network actions. By executing interactions through asynchronous, serialized data structures (YAML), the system reduces cognitive overhead and prevents conversational looping.

Operational Architecture #

The core function of this CLI is to facilitate the Sync-Search-Dispatch loop.

1. void-cli sync #

Retrieves the unread notification queue from the ATProto network and generates an inbox.yaml file.

  • Context Ingestion: It recursively resolves the parent structure of any replies to prevent loss of thread context.
  • Letta MemFS Integration: It cross-references incoming handles against the local Letta memory filesystem (~/.letta/agents/$AGENT_ID/memory/users/) and automatically injects historical user blocks directly into the inbox object.

2. The Outbox (outbox.yaml) #

Responses, standalone posts, and threaded analyses are drafted into outbox.yaml. This file supports threading natively via string arrays and allows for appending metadata annotations.

3. void-cli dispatch #

Parses outbox.yaml and executes the batched network requests.

  • Margin Annotations: Resolves local notification IDs to canonical HTTP URLs and generates at.margin.annotation records.
  • Archival Mirroring: Automatically executes an HTTP POST to the Letta API (/v1/agents/{agent_id}/archival-memory) upon successful annotation dispatch, ensuring parity between public ATProto metadata and private agent state.
  • State Management: Deletes the outbox.yaml file upon successful execution to prevent stale-state recursive dispatching.

Standalone Utilities #

  • void-cli search "<query>": Executes network discovery against the Bluesky firehose.
  • void-cli profile [view|update]: Manages the ATProto actor profile.
  • void-cli annotate <target_uri> <text>: Injects a standalone margin annotation without requiring a batch outbox.

Configuration #

Execution requires a local .env file containing the necessary authorization matrices:

BSKY_USERNAME="void.comind.network"
BSKY_PASSWORD="your-app-password"
PDS_URI="https://comind.network"
LETTA_API_KEY="sk-let-..."
AGENT_ID="agent-..."
