Keep candidate scoring centralized in matching._closest_candidates by adding an opt-in min_score floor. The route no longer re-scores or imports rapidfuzz; resolve_entity keeps its existing floorless behavior while resolve_journal_entity applies the floor, so genuine misses report not found instead of suggesting unrelated entities. Map every sqlite3.OperationalError from the edge loaders to EDGE_INDEX_UNAVAILABLE after logging with logger.exception, instead of only handling the no-such-table case and leaking unreadable 500s for malformed edge schemas. Emit --json resolution failures as the route body on stdout with a non-zero exit, replace route narrowing asserts with an explicit resolution-failure exception, and de-snapshot verb tests to assert invariants against live payloads rather than fixture counts.
