The entries list holds only the vectors whose outcome changes. The eight whose outcome is identical while the candidate list is emptied are a disjoint set, so reading entries and reporting its length undercounts the owner-visible change by eight -- which is the same outcome-keyed blindness the separate list exists to prevent. Counts now name both halves and their sum.
