Allow each lexicographic tier to be either one scorer instance or a weighted sum of scorer instances. Validate every nested reference, reject empty and all-zero groups, and preserve disabled-scorer failures before execution. Expose the tier shape in canvas authoring metadata, document JSON and conf syntax, and cover execution, validation, metadata drift, and TOML round trips.
