Hitomi #

Hitomi is a macOS-native desktop client for Bluesky, written in Rust with Iced.

Development status: Active development only. Hitomi is not ready for alpha, beta, or production use.

Requirements #

• A current Rust toolchain
• just
• cargo-packager

Committed builds use Rust's portable generic CPU baseline. Release bundles are built for the host architecture; cross-architecture distribution is not yet qualified.

Development #

From the repository root:

just build
just run

just run builds, packages, registers, and opens the macOS application bundle.

Useful validation commands:

just check
just test-unit
just verify

List all maintained commands with:

just --list --unsorted
