The gate was already on it - a backward step is priced by the same `step_mp` - but the elevation rule beside it read the hexes' floors, so a hovercraft backing off a lake's shore read as flat ground where MegaMek sees a level change. A corpus case with woods behind a hovercraft holds the seam closed.
