Six wounds is a dead MekWarrior rather than a hurt one. A slot marked as an empty magazine that holds a laser is a file describing something that cannot be - and it is the silent one, because the reader drops the slot either way and the design comes out missing a weapon nobody shot. A slot shot out that was empty to begin with is a file written against a different design. None of the 99 machines MegaMek ships says any of them.
