chore: tidy go.mod (otel deps are direct, not indirect); fix stale tracing doc link master

go mod tidy promotes the otel modules to direct requirements (they were go-get'd before the importing code existed, so they'd been parked under // indirect). deploy/README's span-taxonomy pointer follows the tracing guide to its new home in slop-essays/observability.md.
