The first capture rule applies when one player places pieces that "encircle" an opponent's piece with four of their own. Either horizontal & vertical or corner pieces but not a combination. This is the weakest capture mode but it's critical. Note that the implementation is pretty inefficient for now. We'll ened to improve it.
