Five defect fixes authored 2026-07-24 on an abandoned unattended branch reached main only by cherry-pick, four days after their session logs. The economy.md status note now says so, so the corpus does not imply a same-day landing that never happened. Also cleans two lint-level defects the salvaged code carried: the financial-mail guard now uses `carrier?` instead of an if-let-return block, and its new assertion is rustfmt-clean. Defense: economy.md owns the REDIRECT and accounting-carrier clauses whose provenance this corrects; neither the amendment nor the lint cleanups change behavior, and financial_record_without_accounting_carrier_does_not_author still pins the soft-fail. These ride with the spec amendment because design_amendment_gate.sh reads the staged delta against HEAD, so an amend cannot show the spec change its resulting commit would still contain — satisfying the rule rather than bypassing the hook.
