Hero: darken the splatter to dried-blood red. master

Near-black heart (#4f0404), deep red pool (#8a0808), droplets a step brighter — the slick now reads heavy against the porcelain instead of competing with the amber spine. Defense: site-only visual tweak; crimson remains the single informational accent per the visual law.
