The macOS provider acceptance check and the transient live checks have passed, so the probe's per-trigger `desktop-read` line, its write-test hotkey and its two test windows leave `electron-window-backend.ts`. `MacDesktopProvider.probePlace` and the helper's `place` op stay: they are provider API with unit coverage. The cheatsheet, implementation notes and spec now say how a live check confirms the helper is in use without the probe (`desktop-provider started name=mac`, no fallback line).
