This is my personal fork of crosspoint-reader for the XTEink4. It's 100% vibes, I have no idea what I'm doing. I just thought it would be neat to make a custom firmware because I am unable to resist the desire to tinker with the devices I own.

You probably shouldn't use this because it's just for me, but I want people to steal the RSS reader idea so here it is 😃

What I Changed #

FreshRSS Client #

Mostly works & doesn't crash now? The password is your API password (Profile->External Access via API) not the account one.

• Only shows unread
• Stores articles for offline reading to SD card
• Star/Unstar articles
• Syncs state back to server if on WiFi

MoonReader Sync #

Works, more calibration needed tho.

Tweaks #

• Typography
  • Added ChareInk, Lexend, Deca & Bitter from CrossInk
  • Dropped OpenDyslexic, largest NotoSans size
• Removed non-English localization (sorry not sorry)
• Spooky skull icon + I moved some buttons around
• Added the simulator from CrossInk
