Held moments stop the world: the choice interrupt. master
digital-read D3, criterion 5. Sim::held_choice_cards is a structured core accessor giving each waiting plot choice its prompt, target label, and every option as its exact bound 'choose <target> <id>' command. The glance one-liner and the drill-tier card both build from it, so the sim's held state and the surface's cannot disagree. In Bevy render_held_choice dims the whole frame one step and hangs the question with its bound-command options at the target's projected anchor (screen-center when off-camera); the world-space held line is suppressed so the moment is not double-drawn. The held-choice harness freezes the benefactor-trace beat with Marcus camera-visible as evidence. A world_to_viewport scale-factor conversion was fixed for non-1.0 displays. Defense: wiki/interface/digital-read.md criterion 5 (held moments stop the world; options as exact bound commands; single projection), amended here with the D3 note; continuous-witness.md axiom 2 and the 2026-07-15 playtest finding 1. No save change; the card reads an existing projection.
