The recurring stale-save-version class across machine-work/research/reach/basement-map is queued as a gate finding. Defense: wiki/mechanics/people-tokens.md criterion 7 requires every tuned rate to live in sim-mechanics.md as [TUNE] actuals — the missing USEFUL_WORK_TRUST row violated the spec's own implemented claim. The save-policy one-truth (save.rs, pre-release rider 2026-07-16) supersedes criterion 1's v26/v27 pin text; the amendment records the retirement instead of asserting dead coverage.
