The round was already won on the face — victoryAmount drives a grin nobody was close enough to read. Reels now hold on it: after the killcam, the lens narrows onto the winner's head and stays there, and hearts rise off the face so the win is legible without a HUD to announce it. The lens narrows rather than the camera flying in. That standoff sits outside the arena depth on purpose, and a dolly would put the floor and the winner's own limbs back through the near plane. The cinematic hands back to a wide shot at 1.45s so play can resume; a reel has nothing to resume into, and handing back yanked the camera off the face exactly as the hearts arrived. Reels hold the shot until the recording stops. Play is untouched — all of this is behind reelCamera(). The name moved off center, since the head now occupies it.
