`ac --pro [dir]` is the same terminal pointed at ordinary work: no piece, no QR, nothing published, and the Claude bridge runs with the user's own settings, skills, hooks and MCP servers (the isolation flags are dropped; approvals still come back to this terminal). `--private` keeps a session's subject out of the Slab marker and the transcript index, and nothing leaves the machine in private. Both resolve per directory from ~/.config/easel/profiles.json; `/mode` says how the current session resolved. Every session listens on an inbox — $SLAB_HOME/inbox/<session>/inbox.sock, advertised as inbox_socket in its Slab marker, with messages.jsonl as the file fallback. A line from another session shows as `↓ host:name · text`, starts a turn if the machine is free, queues if it is busy, and `urgent` interrupts. prox_send drops a line in a rock's inbox (locally socket-first, remotely through the owner's /send route on prox-worker and the Swift ledger); prox_inbox peeks or drains. One transcript per session lands under ~/.local/share/aesel/transcripts/<session>/. Merged onto upstream's Aesel rename, desktop host fields, energy gauge and prox_wake: profile resolution moves up beside cwd, inbox objects ride upstream's startTurn path and are batch boundaries in input-batch, and the session-profile command is `/mode` since upstream's `/profile` opens the account page. easel tests 418 pass (the 4 preview-waveform failures are upstream's); slab prox-inbox, inbox-drain and prox-worker pass; the seven prox-mcp checked_at/Loopboy failures predate this. Context bundle refreshed. The .claude/settings.json hook wiring for inbox-drain is left for jeffrey to commit by hand.
