notespatial: hardfield — the room as the drop master

A hardcore club piece at 175 BPM where the spatial arrangement IS the arrangement: the kick is pinned centre and low and never moves (it is the floor), hats and ride hang pinned overhead left and right (the ceiling), and everything else orbits — stabs flying past, an acid lead counter-rotating opposite them, a siren sweeping overhead on the riser. The break has no kick at all: for eight bars the room spins at its fastest and the motion is the only drop there is. The synth engine grows what a club voice needs: a kick whose pitch collapses over 18 ms into tanh saturation (the distorted 909 the genre is built on), saw and square, and per-event drive, decay and sweep, so the acid ladder can run sixteenths at 28 ms decays — many notes, all short. The master gains optional glue: an RMS-targeted tanh on the summed ears, which keeps a hardcore master loud (-7.9 LUFS integrated, break still dropping to -14.6) without a hard limiter shattering the binaural image.
