The prompt rock parks over the top-right corner of the terminal window, which is exactly where the header right-aligns REMOTE and READY — so the state of the session was hiding behind a picture of the session. The header keeps sixteen columns clear on that edge now. The rock is a fixed eighty points wide however the window is sized, so what it costs in columns depends on the font: eleven at a comfortable size, sixteen at a small one. Sixteen clears it, and the header row has that slack to give. A window under sixty-four columns keeps its status and spends the gutter instead — nothing here is worth hiding the state behind a rock that may not be running.
