papers: Free Versus Nonfree — Stallman's licensing map and where AC stands master

New arXiv-lane paper (arxiv-free-vs-open, 6pp). Reconstructs Stallman's free/nonfree map from the 1998 essay and its 2007 rewrite, aligns the two texts section by section, condenses the Words to Avoid entries that bear on licensing, and applies the map to this repository: public, ISC declared in package.json, no LICENSE file tracked — which is source-available, not yet free. Section 8 reads the same map commercially: commerce is orthogonal to freedom, so Easel's hosted backend (ac --backend ac) is the revenue line and is SaaSS in Stallman's terms, copyleft is what actually defends a hosted product, and published pieces need their own terms before editions can be a market. Cites the inference-turnstile, sustainability, and kidlisp-market papers. One TikZ ladder diagram, four tables, an illy cover (gpt-image-2 edit over the open-schools cover, prompt + citation log in figures/), and the two fetched essay texts in the source bundle. Aesthetic Eye recorded and passing against the built PDF. Registered in cli.mjs (essays lane, free-vs-open-26-arxiv), metadata.json, and the SCORE.md papers table. The built PDF and its cover tile are committed to system/public/papers.aesthetic.computer/ so the permalink resolves; index.html/feed/platter are left for the next oven publish rather than regenerated here, because a local regeneration drops entries whose PDFs are not in git.
