lacma-2026 page: strip symbol glyphs out of YWFT-rendered text, letterbox video master
YWFT Processing is a pixel font without glyphs for §, ·, →, em/en-dash. Where those appeared inside YWFT-styled text they rendered as weird fallback shapes. Two fixes: - Move h2 .ord (§ section markers) to Berkeley Mono so the glyph is supplied by the mono font, not YWFT. - Replace · and arrows in .feat <b> headings (which are YWFT) with plain ASCII: "Fall 2027 - 2027 Symposium", "Spring to Summer 2027", "code - AI partner", etc. Prose around the titles keeps the original middots since prose is sans-serif. - Subtitle line under the H1 (YWFT) now uses " - " instead of " · ". Also fix the video frame so the whole video is visible — object-fit: contain on <video> with a near-black background inside .demo-frame so any residual letterbox reads intentional. Widened the video column from 3fr:2fr to 5fr:3fr so the instrument UI is readable, and gave the laptop photo its own aspect-ratio wrapper so the two sides don't stretch to match. Photo cover-crops (graceful), video letterboxes (preserves every pixel). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
