oskiewar: the fight a watcher sees is the fight master

Projectiles never left the host. The state wire carried fighters, balls and a camera, so anyone watching — a spectator, or a challenger on the streamed lane — saw two bodies flinch and die with empty air between them. Shots, lobs and the host's own impact track ride out now, as flat number rows the relay validates; a full frame measures 2856 bytes of its 8 KiB cap. The relay ran its 25 ms rate gate BEFORE the store, so of two frames landing in one instant the older went out and the newer was gone. Measured against the real relay that was a quarter of all frames wired and over half on a busy link, and it fell hardest when the fight was busiest. Store-then-flush-latest now, one trailing timer per room, the frame serialized once for the room, and the challenger yielded before sixty-four spectators. A watcher no longer paints a frame the instant it lands and then extrapolates past it. Frames queue with their arrival time and the picture reads a clock held a little behind the newest, so a pose is a blend of two frames the host really sent. One wall clock throughout, which kills the drift that stopped the coast fuse tripping at all. `gameplayStarted` was never true on a watcher, and the whole match HUD hangs off it. The round clock was derived from `remainingMs`, zero on every untimed round, which pinned it thirty seconds in the past. Both fixed; the round's own age is on the wire. Sparks, debris and the limbs that came off are simulated locally from what the wire carries, and expire. A denied chair never reached the grandstand at all: the bridge had one timer slot and the replay retry held it almost always, so the reconnect was dropped in silence. Two named slots. Both lanes draw a connection meter, top right. A rollback fight reports a real round trip — each seat's own wall mark comes home on the rival's next packet, so the two machines never have to agree on the time. A watcher reports the jitter and loss it can actually measure. Nothing is invented. A desync is repaired instead of counted: both seats fall back to the lane where the host is the only authority, and stay out of the rollback lane long enough that the next hello is not the same divergence again. Button edges leave at once on both the client and the relay — two floors written to pace an analog stick were swallowing presses, invisibly, at both ends. Versus publishing is paced on the wall clock, so a catch-up pump emits one frame instead of three, and the shell stopped parsing each payload twice to re-wrap it. And a corpse in the waiting room falls. The dead branch skips every rule including gravity, which is right in a round and wrong in a lobby: a fighter blasted out of a hop kept the hop's height and its jump pose for the whole respawn beat, which reads as still jumping.
