The suffocation alarm is now a feature the user opts into, not always-on. Master switch is a flag file (state/perf-alarm-enabled) toggled from the System submenu; the controller disarms + resets when it's off. Dropped the sound-only mute toggle (the enable checkbox subsumes it). Desktop doc (~/Desktop/Performance-Alarm.md) explains what it is and what it's tied to.
