The local site (lith/server.mjs run with NODE_ENV!=production) imported each function once at startup and cached it, so boot-HTML (index.mjs) edits never showed up without a full restart. Now, in DEV, re-import the requested function before dispatch (throttled ~2x/sec, only the function being hit). Prod is unaffected (DEV=false → no reload). Works for in-place editor saves; atomic- rename saves (e.g. sed -i) aren't visible to a long-running process on WSL2/ Docker bind mounts due to inode-resolution caching.
