First press arms a buffer that diffs `tonestack` each sim tick; second press serializes captured tones as `<oct><note>` and api.jump()s to clock with the median note duration as the `:timing` colon arg. v1 drops rests and emits all notes at one tempo because clock's sticky duration modifiers make per-note timing fragile.
