cancelok: a web of puddles — the frame moves with the room, never black, always edged master
The set was one fixed window with content sliding behind it. Now every room is its own framed puddle and carries its frame WITH it, so a drag pulls the whole web across the grid — an infinite lattice of little screens, wall between them, panning as one. On a diagonal you pull four framed puddles at once. Two asks fell out of the same change: - NEVER BLACK. The wall, the stage underlay, and the peek frames all take a slate tone now, never pure black — and it still contrasts the pad so the touchable area stays visible. - ALWAYS AN EDGE LINE. A lit RIM is baked into each puddle's frame, hugging the rounded boundary, so there's a visible line on every side no matter what the pad or the wall are doing. The frame overlay is glass-sized (rides with its room) instead of screen-sized (fixed), baked per wall colour and cached. Cell pitch is a full screen, so neighbors sit a wall's-width apart. Stress: voices bounded, heap ok, no errors. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
