oskiewar: a radial thumbstick for touch, sized for a thumb master
The phone's d-pad was four digital arrow zones, 40 px wide at a 1080-tall logical view — small under a thumb, and the park, which steers and throttles by analog, never got a vector from it. Touch now has a radial thumbstick: a touch landing in the lower-left plants the stick's base where the thumb is, the thumb's offset (to the stick's radius) is the pad's left stick, a true analog vector, and it springs to center on release. The stick and the four action discs are sized from the canvas's logical scale so each is about a thumb wide on any phone, and the cluster sits one spread in from the corner so its lowest and rightmost discs stay whole on a short, wide screen. The canvas is touch-action: none, or the browser cancelled the pointer at the first move for a pan and the stick sprang back (measured). The drawing and the hit test stay one arithmetic; the shell exposes keyAt for a driver. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
