Restructures the status item into two regions: a rounded-rectangle "[● SNAP]" button and a sliders chip to its right. Click hit-tests the cursor location — snap region fires a tap, settings region opens the menu. Hover state is per-region (hi-hat tick only when the cursor enters the snap rectangle, not the chip).
