The direct download is retired, so /advanced no longer offers a Menu Band DMG or its download counter. It becomes TrackDrum's page: the free native companion that supplies the two things the sandboxed App Store build cannot do for itself, multi-finger trackpad percussion and the global command double-tap. Claims that belonged to the direct build and cannot be verified against the store build are dropped rather than reassigned to it. manifest.json stays because installed direct builds still poll its latest.json sibling and the downloads API validates against its version allowlist.
