Game speed is the clock, not a patch on it: +/- on a keyboard (numpad twins included) step the monotonic stream's own increments in quarter steps from a quarter speed to double, so physics, input windows, bot dice and round timers all slow or quicken together. The pace keys are excluded from the title's any-button-starts rule, a small tag under the start word says what they dialed in, and the offline reel harness keeps its own clock so recordings always run at one. The negative-clock guard now lives in the accumulator itself — scaled time starts at zero and counts deltas forward whatever number the host first reports — and its test pins the new form.
