The iOS and Mac shells post one /api/app-open on launch, like the other native apps: a random install id kept in the app's own defaults, no account or address. The everyday desk build (build-macos-app.sh) compiles LaunchPing with -D DEBUG so it stays silent; only App Store builds count. PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy declares Product Interaction (analytics, not linked, no tracking) and the UserDefaults reason (CA92.1) it now needs. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
