- Backlight was structurally OFF on v12 (no .face.json sidecars → faceCanvas/laptopCanvas null → whole stained-glass skipped). Fixed by generating sidecars; decay 0.12→0.42s + hotter/bigger stamp so it BLASTS through face/laptop. - Geometric distortion under the string (warpIllustration) re-enabled (verlet-smooth; only the jerky whole-image scene-pan stays off). - ALL typography tints to the current section: title chars recoloured per-char via source-in, karaoke decoded/edge/encoded colours from the section tint; karaoke decode lagged 0.14s (was 'a bit eager'). - Soft dark vignette behind the title for legibility/mood. - Lighter illos: depth veil 0.40→0.18, bloom 0.55→0.32, leaded multiply 0.30→0.16 — less darkened / blown-out, still soft+grain.
