From 6b325f866fdda5b05834135ad5fea0e1035af72d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Tim Trautmann Date: Fri, 29 May 2026 11:46:34 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] compose: pass GS_HOSTNAME through to the app container Setting GS_HOSTNAME=foo before `docker compose up` only affected variable substitution inside the YAML (the bundled Caddy was reading it that way). The app container itself didn't see the var, so the setup wizard's bridge URL prompt couldn't pre-fill its default. Both compose files now explicitly forward GS_HOSTNAME to app.environment. --- compose.shared-host.yaml | 6 ++++-- compose.yaml | 6 ++++-- 2 files changed, 8 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/compose.shared-host.yaml b/compose.shared-host.yaml index b9bf34a..9f08a34 100644 --- a/compose.shared-host.yaml +++ b/compose.shared-host.yaml @@ -18,8 +18,10 @@ services: build: . restart: unless-stopped environment: - GS_DB_PATH: /data/ghoststandard.sqlite - GS_PORT: "8080" + GS_DB_PATH: /data/ghoststandard.sqlite + GS_PORT: "8080" + # Read by the setup wizard to pre-fill the bridge URL prompt.
