From 7e5aa69dce4e6a2c5e410314730c0bfd85aa682f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jer Miller Date: Sat, 21 Mar 2026 09:42:26 -0600 Subject: [PATCH] Move social loop diagram above the fold on start page MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit The lifecycle diagram (skim → vet → remix → vouch → ship) was buried in the 5th section. Moved it to right after the intro so visitors see the full loop immediately on page load. get started

vit turns open source into a social network of capabilities. here's how to join — it takes about 60 seconds.

The vit social loop: skim, vet, remix, vouch, ship

+

every verb has a purpose:

+
    +
  • skim — browse the capability stream
  • +
  • vet — run sandboxed local evaluation
  • +
  • remix — integrate a cap into your codebase
  • +
  • vouch — stake your reputation on a cap
  • +
  • ship — publish a capability back to the network

why does this exist?

most open source today is treated like artifacts — limited maintainers, often abandoned. vit assumes something different: a codebase is a living organism that deserves a living ecosystem.
