From c200f87473943a61e4a30dd01a5efb5c2ac78e78 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "@permadeath.com" Date: Mon, 17 Aug 2026 12:05:12 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] docs: record that the welcome page's copy is written MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit A human wrote welcome.html's words in b120df2..7d9c5bc, but README, TODO and the release script still described them as SNICKERSNEE placeholders. The token now appears only in the places that talk about it. Keep the guard in scripts/deploy-ext.sh — this repo leaves brand prose to a human, so the next page starts as a placeholder again — and reword its comment, and the test's, so it reads as a regression guard rather than a claim about the page as it stands. --- README.md | 6 +++--- TODO.md | 10 ++++------ scripts/deploy-ext.sh | 9 +++++---- scripts/deploy-ext.test.mjs | 9 +++++---- 4 files changed, 17 insertions(+), 17 deletions(-) diff --git a/README.md b/README.md index b3db08d..005ebcc 100644 --- a/README.md +++ b/README.md @@ -169,9 +169,9 @@ substandard shows a badge when the site you're visiting has a standard.site publ - That page's picture is a drawing rather than a capture: Chrome's toolbar and its extensions menu are native UI and do not render into a page screenshot, the same reason `scripts/capture-status-docs.mjs` draws its badge tiles.
