as the title says, it would be nice to be able to select a collection when adding an annotation, highlight or bookmark

Any movement on this? I was just revisiting margin for highlighting something I was reading and immediately hit this limitation. I'm specifically using the Firefox extensions, and I was expecting an option to add to a collection (or add to a new collection) from the Page or Collections tabs.
