# mamabaer KDE theme

My personal KDE Plasma theme, made so my desktop feels a little more like a quiet forest.

The mood is moosgruen, dark wood, warm beige, and low evening light. Cozy before fancy. I use this theme myself, so the goal is not to make a flashy showcase. The goal is to make my everyday desktop feel calm, readable, and mine.

## Theme family

This is part of the small MamaBaer theme family:

- `mamabaer-kde-theme` for KDE Plasma
- `mamabaer-vscode-theme` for VS Code
- `mamabaer-zed-theme` for Zed

They share the same basic palette: deep evergreen backgrounds, soft forest surfaces, amber accents, and cream text.

## Status

This repo is also a small tangled and jj experiment. The theme itself stays personal first: if it works well on my own desktop, it is doing its job.

## Design notes

- deep green backgrounds instead of cold blue-gray
- dark wood and moss tones for panels and surfaces
- warm beige text instead of pure white
- amber accents for focus, selection, and glow
- calm contrast for long sessions
