README.md

Method One:

  • On your computer:
    • Install Android Studio.
    • Clone the repo.
  • On your phone:
    • Go to settings, enable Developer Options, and then enable USB debugging.
  • On your computer:
    • In Android Studio, open the project
  • Plug in your phone. You should get the option to link your phone to your computer via USB debugging. Accept it.
  • On your computer:
    • In android studio, there should be a run button. Click it. It should install the app on your device.

Method Two:

  • Download the APK in this folder.
  • Download aShell or aShell You, and install it.
  • Set up wireless debugging as the app guides you to do (or you can configure Shizuku to do the same and have aShell(You) gain emulated root through it)
  • On your phone, keep the exact file name, but move it or create a copy of it to your Documents folder.
  • In aShell(You), run the following commands exactly as given:
    • cp "Documents/Magic Counter.apk" /data/local/tmp/mc.apk

This copies the file from your Documents folder into a temporary directory which can be used to install apps.

    • pm install -t /data/local/tmp/mc.apk

This tells your phone to install the app. -t is required because the release is a test release.
