A simple file transfer "wormhole" using GTK4 and tailcat by Tailscale (main-branch-only mirror of https://forge.ejuarezg.com/ejuarezg/tailcat-wormhole)
README.md

Flatpak #

The manifest and Flatpak-specific desktop and AppStream metadata live here.

Build and install the current checkout #

./flatpak/build.sh
flatpak run com.ejuarezg.wormhole

The build requires flatpak-builder and the declared GNOME runtime and SDK. Install them from a configured Flatpak remote if they are not already present, for example: flatpak install flathub org.gnome.Sdk//50 org.gnome.Platform//50. The package is currently limited to x86_64 because the pinned Babashka and Tailcat release binaries are x86_64.

Validation #

appstreamcli validate --explain flatpak/com.ejuarezg.wormhole.metainfo.xml
desktop-file-validate flatpak/com.ejuarezg.wormhole.desktop
flatpak-builder --show-manifest flatpak/com.ejuarezg.wormhole.json >/dev/null

The app needs network access for Tailcat and home-directory access because its in-process GTK chooser allows users to select arbitrary source and destination folders. The other permissions are the standard GTK display and rendering permissions. Replacing the custom chooser with the file chooser portal would allow removing --filesystem=home.
