# Vendored lexicons

These lexicon JSON files are vendored from upstream and are the source of truth
for the generated code in `crates/tangled-api/src/lexicon/`.

Sources:

- `sh.tangled.*` (and `com.atproto.repo.strongRef`): [tangled-core](https://tangled.org/@tangled.org/core)
  `lexicons/` @ `76299b87bdadf201b5512f0ea6d15a70443928cb`
- `com/atproto/**` (except `strongRef`): [bluesky-social/atproto](https://github.com/bluesky-social/atproto)
  `lexicons/com/atproto/` @ `6b493b77f56b7de47f5eb91d29f726cdc7794e46`
  (only the subset the CLI uses, plus transitive refs)

To update: re-copy the files from upstream, bump the commit hashes above, then
regenerate and review the diff:

cargo xtask codegen
```

CI runs `cargo xtask codegen --check` to ensure the generated code is in sync
with these files. Do not edit files under `crates/tangled-api/src/lexicon/` by
hand.
