# The datatypetool Command The `datatypetool` command should just need a `datatypetool.toml` file in the current working directory. If you _have_ to run it from somewhere else, the `--toml` or `-t` flag can specify an alternate config file location, and runs relative to _that_ toml's file path. Here is the help message: datatypetool [-t|--toml FILE] [-v] Create types that work across your entire stack. This CLI reads a datatypetool.toml file and creates types for all specified languages from a set of *.type files. Available options: -t,--toml FILE A datatypetool.toml file path, if not within the current working directory -v Increase verbosity, up to three times --version Show version information -h,--help Show this help text
