# My Pico Lab

Experimental playground for programming the Raspberry Pi Pico with [Ferret](https://ferret-lang.org/).

## Setup

1. Download the Standalone Jar for Ferret from the website
2. Install the following packages: `arm-none-eabi-gcc arm-none-eabi-newlib cmake ninja git`
3. Copy cmake file from pico-sdk `cp pico-sdk/external/pico_sdk_import.cmake <project-dir>`
4. Compile the Ferret code with e.g. `java -jar ../ferret.jar -i blink.clj -o blink.cpp`
5. Export `PICO_SDK_PATH=path/to/pico-sdk`
6. Build with `/usr/bin/make -j4`
7. Plug in a pi with the `BOOTSEL` button held down
8. Copy the `build/<program-name>.ul2` file to the Pi
