+# My Pico Lab
+
+Experimental playground for programming the Raspberry Pi Pico with [Ferret](https://ferret-lang.org/).
+
+## Setup
+
+1. Download the Standalone Jar for Ferret from the website.
+2. Install the following packages: `arm-none-eabi-gcc arm-none-eabi-newlib cmake ninja git`
+3. Copy cmake file from pico-sdk `cp pico-sdk/external/pico_sdk_import.cmake <project-dir>`
+4. Export `PICO_SDK_PATH=path/to/pico-sdk`
+5. `unfunction make` to avoid any weird special make commands interrupting the build.
+6. Build with `cmake ..` from within `<project-dir>`.
+7. Plug in a pi with the `BOOTSEL` button held down.
+8. Copy the `build/<program-name>.ul2` file to the Pi.
