Foundation compute direction #
selected-asymmetric-service-spine.png is the binding form reference selected
by Cameron on 2026-07-10. It is the third image from the tall/slender study.
Take from it:
- tall, slender, vertically consolidated mass;
- one broad, quiet bone-white primary shell;
- asymmetric black service structure and physical depth;
- broad unequal plates with room for one dominant integrated signal aperture;
- one heavy cooling/power connection at the base;
- simple at game distance, convincingly constructed up close.
Clean up rather than redesign: remove generated markings, reduce incidental
panel seams, and discipline loose floor cabling into a rear/base trunk. Preserve
the large service hose as evidence of infrastructural weight. The original
full-height beam instruction is superseded by the 2026-07-28 circular-instrument
amendment in wiki/interface/computer-visual-language.md; retain the selected
image's asymmetry and service depth, not its literal signal fixture.
rack-circle-instrument-reference.jpg is the exact supporting reference
Cameron supplied on 2026-07-28 after approving the circular-instrument direction.
Take the circle's scale, concentric mechanical depth, and the way unequal shell
plates terminate around its aperture. Its particular room, repeated chassis,
cables, and incidental generated details are not a literal model sheet.
The other files are comparison evidence, not alternate law:
tall-study-01.png— too consumer-appliance-like at the base;tall-study-02.png— useful depth, but less physical than the selection;tall-study-04.png— clean iconic silhouette, but too ceremonial;expanded-shell-study.png— too much exposed contemporary rack anatomy and generated detail.
The shared computer language is broader than this one chassis. Future desktops, storage bodies, accelerator vaults, and distributed compute may differ in form; ownership albedo, thick black functional structure, one state-bearing circular instrument, and quiet mass are the portable grammar.
