From 5c50a4de5338ad6ef027871b6e6f281ead0e5d64 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Cameron Date: Sun, 26 Jul 2026 12:36:34 -0800 Subject: [PATCH] Make the corpus-engine fixture sed portable. The particulate effects-lab fixture called `sed -i` with no backup suffix. BSD sed reads the next token as the suffix and then the filename as the script, so it died with "invalid command code f" and the corpus-engine fixture gate exited non-zero on macOS. `./tools/check.sh --docs` therefore could not complete on a clean tree. Use the `-i.bak` + `rm` idiom the same file already uses two hundred lines later. Defense: tooling-only portability fix. No game behavior, wiki authority, or save format is touched, so no design amendment is owed. --- tools/test_corpus_engine.sh | 3 ++- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/tools/test_corpus_engine.sh b/tools/test_corpus_engine.sh index 827607a6..4a113660 100755 --- a/tools/test_corpus_engine.sh +++ b/tools/test_corpus_engine.sh @@ -839,8 +839,9 @@ echo "$out" | grep -q 'labels the Thought-only effects lab with retired particul echo "$out" fail=1 } -sed -i 's/Effects lab: dust and liquid/Effects lab: Thought routes and pools/' \ +sed -i.bak 's/Effects lab: dust and liquid/Effects lab: Thought routes and pools/' \ "$root/wiki/SUMMARY.md" +rm "$root/wiki/SUMMARY.md.bak" cat > "$root/wiki/process/exposure-knowledge.md" <<'EOF' # Exposure knowledge -- 2.51.2
